Minecraft keeps crashing

Minecraft keeps crashing about 10-20 minutes into the game for a reason I don't know. I'm using 1.8.8 (The latest) and windows 10 if that matters. My computer should be able to run that game as it has worked with all previous versions at 60 fps. I don't have any mods or anything to change the game. I've also tried reinstalling it completely but that doesn't help.

What GPU do you have? NVIDIA ones have had some driver issues.

Gtx 660. ill look for the latest drivers and see if that helps

My card is up to date and the game still crashes even on 1.7.10. Ive scanned my PC with AVG and I will refresh it.
