Hello,
first time posting. I bought a new laptop, including a new monitor. Both have native resolution of 1920x1080. For some reason all of my games lag when they are displayed on the second monitor, both full screen and maximized windows. I've tried restarting, Reinstalling graphics card driver, downgrading drivers, modifying resolution and refresh rate of both screens. If anyone has any idea what is going on and how to fix it, i'd greatly appreciate it.

PC Specs:
- iz-6700HQ @ 2.60GHz
-16 GB ram @ 1600Mhz
-Nvidia Geforce 965M
-Windows 10 64 bit

Monitor Samsung S27E310

Disclaimer: no idea really, and I typically hate when ppl try to answer tech support threads when they don't know exactly what they're talking about, but I'm gonna throw this out there...

I just got a new gsync setup (my first) and in doing some general research on the subject, I came across people talking about gsync causing "lag" issues with 2nd monitor under certain circumstances. So first I would just try to disable gsync entirely if it's enabled. If this fixes the problem then you can explore a more permanent solution: I believe you can set gsync to default "on" for your main monitor and "off" for 2nd monitor, in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Search engine is your friend. {sic}

Alternatively, I would also try making sure that you set the refresh rate on your external display to match that of your internal display. Or vice versa. Just make them match each other.

If it's not a gsync issue, the only other thing that comes to mind off the top of my head is to make sure you have the display mode set to "projector only" or whatever it has to be on to ensure that you are only rendering the game on one monitor (the external monitor). i.e. not showing it on both the main screen and the external screen. Double displays = more work for your GPU and this could also cause lag.
