Hello !

I'm having a huge problem with my minecraft (java version).
I have installed OptiFine HD U G3 and shader : BSL v7.2 fix 1 (BSL). When I launch my minecraft I have 30 fps that can drop to 20-10 fps. Sometimes I could achive 60 fps but for my pc spec :

-GPU : RTX 2060 Palit
-CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 2700
-Motherboard : MSI Tomahawk B450
-2x8 GB DDR4

I've tried turning on Fast Math, lowering chunks rendering, changing resolution, turning off some settings, lowering graphics. It still doesn't work. Turning off all modifications (vanilla), my minecraft reaches only 60 fps ... with Vsync, no Framerate limits. My friend with weaker setup gets better results with the same settings + with 29 chunk rendering even 120 FPS ! ... How is this possible ?

Oh and adding more ram to this game only eates more FPS ...
Thanks for any answers

Also vsync will sync it with your monitors refresh rate. Which in most cases is 60. Your friend just might have a 120 Hz monitor so vsync will set him to 120 fps.

Only give 4gb max unless running modpacks. Did you turn off your shaders? I have tried shaders with my computer on minecraft and some of them make it look like It has an intel igpu.
