Minecraft Ram Problem

I don't know if anyone can help but im on a computer with

Intel i3-3220 3.30 Ghz
6GB ram 5.89 usable and when i try and set 2g dedicated ram to minecraft it gives the the java error btw its build in i think intel HD4000 graphics That might be wrong idk

You are using an Intel HD 4000.
As you know it uses, or reserves, a portion of system ram for the HD 4000 video chip set.

Now some boards with the graphics chip set work dynamic. some fixed.
And the size of the system memory for the HD 4000 chip to reserve or be used must be set in the bios.

When you set Mine craft to use 2gb it is probably because the actual reserve is set to less than 2gb of ram for the HD 4000 chipset.

That means a trip to the bios to see the actual amount of maximum memory can be reserved out of system memory in respect to the HD 4000 graphics chip set.
You will have to set mine craft to this limit.
