I know this is a dumb reason for me to buy a powerful pc, but i REALLY wanna try to experience minecraft at 4K with ray tracing on. During summer im gonna be upgrading my current pc. However, I dont know if the upgrade im gonna get is gonna give me a stable 60 fps count at 4k in minecraft with raytracing. so imma ask your opinions.

current spec:
Mobo: Asus Z390 f gaming
ram: 4x4 crucial ddr4
psu: corsair rm750 x
cpu: intel i 5 9400
gpu: geforce gtx 1060 8gb

After upgrade:
Mobo: same
ram: 8x4 ddr4 or 16x2 ddr4
psu: same
cpu: intel i9 9900k
gpu: geforce rtx 2080 super

Is 2080 super gonna be enough for a stable fps count while using ray tracing or do i need lets say the 2080ti? (which is darn too expensive compared to super)

Solution
Welp, here's your answer. Not even a 2080Ti is going to average 60fps at 4K. An RTX Titan might give you an average of 60fps, but you will not be able to say "it'll never dip below 60fps."

I have heard minecraft doesn't like 4k even WITHOUT raytracing. Raytracing at 1440p on Java Edition with your upgraded setup should get at least 80fps. If you do try 4k with SEUS Renewed 1.0.1 (java raytracing) you will probably struggle to run it at stable 60 (maybe 50-60fps average)

ive heard that the raytracing only works for the windows edition, but not java. did not know you can. 😶
