Question Minecraft runs better on intel graphics than nvidia graphics

Hello, I have an Asus fx503vd, and recently i have been messing around with the nvidia settings a lot, and i noticed that having my gpu set to "auto-select" makes my minecraft use my intel HD 630 gpu instead of the gtx 1050 2gb that is supposed to be way better, i also noticed that i get like 400 more max fps but the same fps on average(haven't benchmarked it yet" Is there something wrong? Or is minecraft just this terribly optimized?

What do you mean? Doesn’t really make sense. Also minecraft is more CPU intensive than GPU.

Basically, the max fps when i look at the sky or at the ground on the igpu is 600+ but on my 1050 its almost always 300-400 even when i look at the sky or at the horizon, the horizon is the "average" fps which is where i get the same fps on both gpu's
