minecraft server with a amd fx-8350?

can i run a minecraft server with 5 people max with an amd fx-8350 and a decent gpu like the sapphire r7 265 2gb or the amd r7 270 or 270x? i will be using it for survival world and i would also like to multitask while running it such as playing LoL and internet.

yes, it is fine, and if you are only hosting the server, not actually playing it, the only thing it really uses is the ram.

well i will be playing in it not just all the time and i will be using an 8gb 1866 or 1600 ram

My 965 and 8 gigs of ram could handle a server just fine.

Your internet is going to impact the server more than anything else. Make sure that is up to par. Around 5 people only uses ~500MB of ram at max load.
