Minecraft sli compatability

Alright guys, I have a 980ti gigabyte g1 gaming and I play on a LG 3440x 1440p 21:9 moniter. All my games peg at 60fps except minecraft. I use extreme shaders and have everything maxed and I only get about 20fps. I've considered getting another graphics card but I've read that minecraft doesn't support sli. Can anybody help me out?

no that will not help and no you shouldnt bother buying another 980ti just for minecraft lol. lower the settings till your happy with fps. you cant run nvidia sli in minecraft or any java game as far as im concerned
