Could someone help me with this, I have been playing Minecraft from time to time and it has suddenly started lagging when I use the Shaders Mod and I'm getting a lower FPS in general. This just suddenly started happening before this I had good FPS. Now I'm getting like 20FPS with Shaders. Thanks for any help!

Specs:
CPU: Core i5-3470 3.6Ghz
GPU: Radeon HD7950 3GB
RAM: 8GB 1600Mhz
Storage: 1TB 7200RPM Drive

Thanks!

Solution
Try setting to;

Graphics Fast
Smooth lighting off
3D off
GUI auto
Clouds off
Server textures off
V-Sync off
AF off
Render distance 5 chunks, or low as possible, tiny.
Max FPS 60 FPS
Bobbing on
Brightness bright
Particles minimal
Fullscreen off (Run in fullscreen and windowed.)
Mipmap off

And make sure you're running 1.7.4 and not a snapshot.

Press F3 in a offline, non-large biomes/amplified world and let me know the FPS you see from that top left drop down in white text.

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply but it can't be the mod man because I used to be able to play it with like 60FPS and without the mod I'm getting lower than I used to as well I can't work it out. I am playing Vanilla Minecraft. Thanks for the reply!
