Minecraft Texture Glitch

I have been having this problem with items that I am holding in the game, where they have small white lines in between pixels of items such as the sword or pickaxe but it seems to happen on almost all held items.

This is completely stock minecraft, no optifine or anything, this occurs with texture packs other than the default as well, I have a Sapphire r9 270 that has not been overclocked. I have tried different tutorials in youtube to fix it but none seem to work. These are my settings currently in the Catalyst Control Center.

that is caused by mipmapping, and not having anisotropic filtering (for some reason they removed the feature), and can be fixed by using Optifine, and adusting the settings so that both mipmapping and anisotropic filtering are used. here is the link: http://optifine.net/downloads

I tried that and it still shows the lines unfortunately.

i have "the same" GPU as you (HD 7870, it's pretty much the same), and i do get lines like that, but they are barely noticeable. I'm curious as to what resolution your display is (mine is 1680x1050).

My display is 1920x1080 I also have a 1600x900 display and the lines are shown there as well. They are not extremely noticeable while playing but it can get a little annoying sometimes, I guess I am just nitpicking 😛

I know this was a long time ago but I have this issue as well, did you ever figure anything out?
