Mini Displayport Adapter

About a week ago I got a new GPU. The HIS IceQ 7970. The problem is, I run a 3 monitor setup, and this card only has 1 DVI and 1 HDMI with 2 Mini Displayport-ports. I searched online and found that I needed to get an 'active adapter'. So, I bought this, and for some reason it does not work. The way my monitors were setup, was Left: DVI, Middle: HDMI and Right: Adapter to DVI. Does anyone have any idea why this setup is not working or any other recommendations for adapters (I AM willing to take recommendations for MDP to VGA, too...)

3rd monitor or above needs to have native DP support, however active adapters can be deployed so hardware speaking, you are properly setup!

your adapter is active, though single link dvi meaning you are limmited to 1200p 60hz

So, the active adapter makes up for the non-native DP support? Do you have any recommendations for adapters?

no i dont, all are good as long as is the proper one.customer reviews confirm that yours is an active one. there is a possibility though to be faulty.! have you been through the AMD support link? just for the record with your (any) adapter isnt possible to run with a DVI A (analog) capable monitor

Maybe it was just faulty. My monitor is DVI-D by the way, so it can't be that.
