Mini HDMI capabilities

I own a GTX 750 (I know I could've gone with the Ti, shut up, I was young and feeble-minded) which has three outputs, one of which being a mini-HDMI. Now, I currently use the Dual-link DVI slot, which is going into an adapter converting the data to VGA. I though I would run a little experiment to see if I could notice the difference between VGA and mini-HDMI. But, as much as I have scorwed the internet, I cannot, for the life of me, find the capabilities of mini-HDMI: the resolution it can carry and and what refresh rate. If you can answer my main question on mini-HDMI that would be great, but if you also have anything to say on my little experiment and if I should perhaps alter it to perfection, feel free to comment down below, I would love to have a discussion!

Mini HDMI and HDMI have the same capabilities. The difference is only in the form factor or physical size (to fit numerous outputs on a single card). As long as you use a 1.4 version cable (or higher) you should be fine with 2k resolutions (1440). 4k should use DVI, but I have seen HDMI work as well (though not likely supported unless HDMI 2.0). Switch over to a digital input on your monitor and ditch the VGA connection... You will be glad you did.

Solution
Will it decrease the image clarity by using the mini-HDMI in my GPU and running it through a mini-HDMI to full HDMI cable into the monitor?

Thank you this is very helpful!
