Hi Guys, I'm thinking about building a Mini ITX.

Now Mini-itx builds can roughly get to be the cost of a microatx or full atx build, obivously the form factor is much much smaller. I was wondering what would be the best spec mini itx build for a budget of $800.

I really need it to play GTA 5, and most newer games. I'd prefer Intel over AMD.

IDK if an Intel I3 is good for gaming, but I'm open to all answers.

Thank guys, :)

Well while you might run up to $800 for a good mini-ITX case, motherboard, and power supply your results in gaming aren't going to be very good. Realistically, you can use up to an Intel Core i7 in a Mini ITX, so CPU isn't an issue. What ends up being the issues is the graphics card.

While you will be able to play GTA 5 with a lot of low end graphics cards, possibly even the integrated graphics, on the absolute lowest setting with reduced resolution, most good graphics cards won't fit your case. The best of the GPUs that will fit might get you to medium settings, but if you want to do better you need to get a bigger graphics card which means getting a larger case.
