[SOLVED] Mini ITX Build

Looking til build a small and powerfull "gaming" computer using Mini ITX. Its been alot of years since I did this the last time so I need some help with the components. This is what I have so far:
  • ASUS ROG Strix X570-I Gaming
  • Louqe Ghost S1 - MKIII
  • Noctua NH-L12S - CPU cooler
  • AMD Ryzen 9 5900X - 3.7 GHz
  • ASUS TURBO-RTX3080-10G-V2
  • CORSAIR Vengeance LPX DDR4 - sett - 32 GB: 2 x 16 GB - DIMM 288-pin - 3600 MHz / PC4-28800
  • CORSAIR SF Series SF750
Storage and peripherals not taken into account in this list. Any obvious mistakes so far? CPU maybe overkill? Is 750w enough power?

Just gaming, yes, CPU is overkill. 5600X if you are only gaming.

Power supply is marginal. 3080 can pull a lot of juice, and coupled with that CPU might be over the limit.

If you were to force the GPU to maintain a reasonable power profile and not overclock the CPU, maybe.

Might want to drop the cpu to a 5800x otherwise it looks solid.

The cooler is 4mm to tall and will not cool that processor.

Borderline on the power supply.

I love doing ITX builds and have done more than a few at this point. I really feel like you are going to run into performance issues caused by heat/throttling on a build that small and powerful. I would be very hesitant to put items like an R9/3080/PSU that powerful inside a case with no room. Where they may fit, this system is likely to heat soak really quickly, throttle back, and then you are on performance you could have paid a lot less for.
I have run into issues within small m-ITX cases on items such as i5, R7, 1080, (and so on).

If the intention is gaming I would probably consider something like R5 on a 3070 if you stick with (have a case that supports) air cooling.
