Hi Guys. I'm building a new mini gaming pc system with the following components:

Motherbard: GIGABYTE GA-Z87N-WIFI

CPU: Intel i7-4770

GPU: GEFORCE 660GTX TI

CPU cooler: Noctua NH-L9i CPU-coolor - 92mm

RAM:Crucial Ballistix Sport Series DDR3-1600, CL9 - 8 GB

Case: Lian Li PC-Q28B Mini-ITX

PSU: Silverstone SST-ST50NF Nightjar-Series, 80Plus Silver

I want a small and silent system. Therefore did I chose the fan less PSU. However I have my doubts about heat.
Do you guys think that I will have a problem with the PSU in this Mini-ITX system?

I know I can't overclock without K version of the CPU. 🙂

Hmm Yea they wouldn't recommend it...

Do you guys have any other recommendations then? I would prefer another fan less PSU, but a very silent cooler is fine as well as long as it at least meet the 80+ bronze standard.

Edit, what about corsair rm550? Will it fit in the case?

Yea and in comparison to the two other they wouldn't recommend the Silverstone PSU... Also because of potential heat problems and bad bronze 80Plus.

How about corsair rm550? Is it ok silent and will it fit in the case?

Yes, I know that they didn't recommend the Silverstone one, so I was asking whether you have considered the other two PSU yet.

RM series are known for quiet, but also bad capacitors on the interior (might break easily with unstable power or bad filtering process).
