Are mini itx mobos good for mid - hardcore gaming, is their a diffrence other than less pci-e slots ?

Technically they are pretty much the same as mainstream motherboards. The problem with mini ITX is if you're using an mini ITX case, which are not so good at accomodating large coolers or airflow.

Looks good but I got a i5 2500k 1155 socket, could you suggest a good oc mobo for that cpu ?
