News Mini-PC production line video shows a combination of machine automation and human efforts to make PCs

I always wondered why there was a pricing difference between seemingly similar mini-PCs.
Machining an enclosure out of a block of aluminum will do it.

I've been recommending BeeLink minis to friends and colleagues for a couple years now. They have good build quailty, are very easy to clean and upgrade, and so far, alo pretty reliable. I'm on an SER7 a I write this.

This is basically an ultraportable laptop board smacked in a small box with similar cooling, but it's so much easier to clean, which is really important when it's on a table next to your keyboard, with your arms shedding tiny hairs and skin flakes, AKA "dust". The same stuff that gets in your keyboard ends up in the fan, so being able to easily clean it is paramount to performance (throttling if airflow drops) and longevity.

They didn’t machine it from a block, they press formed it from an aluminum plate, then machined it to shape.
