Question Minimum GPU needed for each resolution

Ok so I’m not sure yet(due to pricing) what will be my first PC build. My two options are 240hz at 1080p or 144hz at 1440p. What GPUs do I need for each, for them to run at those speeds

For either 1080P/240hz or 1440P/144hz I'd probably get the RTX 2070 as a minimum however your also going to need a good CPU for those higher refresh rates and you'd still probably need to lower the graphic settings a bit.

Ok I thanks. Yea I am still learning everything and trying to fully understand these parts but it can be hard since I’ve never in my life used or seen these things lol. The CPUs I have in mind are i9 9900k or i7 9700k

The 9700K would be fine for either resolution. Another thing to look into is the games your playing, some such as AC:Odyssey are very difficult to run even with the highest end systems but others such as FPS like Apex Legends should have no issues with a higher end setup.

Thanks for tip, while I do play games like AC my main games are FPS

For that budget you can shoot for a RTX 2070 (depending on what processor you go with). So you shooting for the 1440p option....
