Hello everyone,
I am learning programming and I want to attach 3 monitors with my cpu. Right now, I have macbook air 2017 build which got i5 5th generation, 8gb ram and 120 gb ssd. I am really happy with my macbook air.

I love its performance. Now, I am little short on money and I want to build a [strike]cpu[/strike] PC . I want

1)same kind of performance as my mba.

2) I should be able to attach 3 monitors with it. Normal monitors , no 4k monitors.

3) I dont play video games, so I wont be using it for video games.

4) I am happy with 120gb ssd or 512 gb hard drive. Not sure, how much it can reduce the performance.

Can someone suggest me a bare minimum build?

Thanks

3 monitors requires at least one display port. This will give you better performance than your macbook air. The current gen i3 is equivalent to a 7th gen i5.

CPU: Intel - Core i3-8100 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor ($118.62 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Gigabyte - B360M DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($65.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: G.Skill - Aegis 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($139.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: ADATA - XPG 512GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($97.99 @ Newegg Marketplace)
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1050 2GB D5 Video Card ($129.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Thermaltake - Versa...
Bare minimum would be just a GPU that can serve 3 monitors and most modern ones can. 2 or 3 monitors are not going to influence performance all by themselves, it's what you do with the rest of computer at same time that's important.
So you can actually forget about having 3 monitors, it would be same load on your system if you run 3 programs at same time on one monitor.
