I may soon purchase a GTX 950 for bit of gaming, but right now my super cheap computer currently has a 500w PSU, not sure if it is enough to handle it. Any tips?

The 950's Power specs are on nVidia's website.
As long as your PSU has at least one 6pin pcie power connector, you should be fine.

from http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-950/specifications

Thermal and Power Specs:
95 C..........Maximum GPU Tempurature (in C)
90 W..........Graphics Card Power (W)
350 W........Recommended System Power (W)**
1x 6-pins....Supplementary Power Connectors

** Recommendation is made based on PC configured with an Intel Core i7 3.2 GHz processor. Pre-built system may require less power depending on system configuration.

Thanks, I had to cut corners for the cost a bit, its been working fine for around 8 months now 😛 Time to lock this thread
