Minimum required GPU for a 27" IPS display.

Just wondering what is required to run these displays. I am putting together a custom build for a customer and don't want to get him something that can't handle the display.

If running the desktop at 2560x1440 is all that's needed, I think an HD 5450 would work - the Korean 2560x1440 IPS monitors on ebay list it as compatible. Gaming at that resolution would require a much more powerful card, possibly a gtx 660 or better, depending on the games to be played.

if its not for gaming than just the integrated gpu in an intel or apu will run it fine.
