No no. I'm planing on getting a Ryzen 7, B450, 650 watt, 16gb RAM and yeah dual channel, I figured not much requirements for storage so I'll just go with 2TB of SSD cause I can lol. Not a brag I just know I don't need much storage. Knowing myself I buy alot of games. Please don't get a 2080Ti for 1080p... not even a 9900k will help there.
Yea I'm planning on getting a 144hz monitor. I mean why spend the money on a 2080 ti and play at 1080p lmao.First, get a 650 Watts high quality PSU. Get Dual channel RAM kit, minimum 16GB. Regarding the CPU, it depends on your budget. Any latest high-end i7, or any of the latest RYZEN CPUs might be a suitable candidate (6-8 cores).
The MOBO will also depend on which CPU you want to buy, INTEL or AMD, and your budget as well ? Just make sure the CPU doesn't bottleneck the GPU.
Actually, there are no minimum hard and fast rules when it comes to upgrading one's PC. How much are you willing to spend ? What about your Monitor ? Do you plan to game on 2K, 4K, or even 1080p ?
Tell that to the people that have already done it, and came here wondering why their fps sucks.Yea I'm planning on getting a 144hz monitor. I mean why spend the money on a 2080 ti and play at 1080p lmao.

9900k + 2080Ti + any 1080p monitor = waste of ~$1000! XD
I have an Intel Core i9 9900K CPU and an EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 ti XC Ultra running on a Samsung 1080p Monitor and my FPS is just fine I can play any game just fine. This CPU and Graphics card combination with a 1080p monitor works perfectly fineTell that to the people that have already done it, and came here wondering why their fps sucks.
