Im going to build a PC and can splurge on a 2080 ti, what are the minimum requirements in terms of how much RAM, CPU cores, which cpu is best in general, and Mobo in general?

First, get a 650 Watts high quality PSU. Get Dual channel RAM kit, minimum 16GB. Regarding the CPU, it depends on your budget. Any latest high-end i7, or any of the latest RYZEN CPUs might be a suitable candidate (6-8 cores).

The MOBO will also depend on which CPU you want to buy, INTEL or AMD, and your budget as well ? Just make sure the CPU doesn't bottleneck the GPU.

Actually, there are no minimum hard and fast rules when it comes to upgrading one's PC. How much are you willing to spend ? What about your Monitor ? Do you plan to game on 2K, 4K, or even 1080p ?

Agree with Metal

But for recommendations for a CPU I would personally go either Ryzen 3600 with a B450 board or jump up to a Rzyen 3900X and a X570 board. On Intel I would go 9700K and a Z390 board. Maybe a 9900K if you plan on streaming

For PSU buy quality, somethign like a Seasonic FOCUS Gold 650, EVGA Supernova G3 650, Corsair TX etc. Use this https://www.gamingscan.com/psu-hierarchy/ . I wouldn't get anything below Tier 1

RAM for gaming 16GB, if you plan on streaming or lots of multi task stuff you may want to consider 32GB. Again as metal said always buy in a Dual Channel kit, don't try and upgrade later since RAM compatibility is not great these days.

Please don't get a 2080Ti for 1080p... not even a 9900k will help there.
No no. I'm planing on getting a Ryzen 7, B450, 650 watt, 16gb RAM and yeah dual channel, I figured not much requirements for storage so I'll just go with 2TB of SSD cause I can lol. Not a brag I just know I don't need much storage. Knowing myself I buy alot of games.

Yea I'm planning on getting a 144hz monitor. I mean why spend the money on a 2080 ti and play at 1080p lmao.
