hello guyz,
i am buying GTX 970.
I just wanna know the minimum requirements for it :)
currently i have
i3 with 500W PSU
i'll upgrade it to i5 after few months..

People are asking for your model number as it really does matter. Cheap PSUs are dangerous to your system, and we want to make sure yours isn't one. Even if it has enough watts/amps, if it is made with really cheap capacitors, it literally can fry your system.

The CS series is average, and is rated as a tier 3 PSU. The list has a note saying "High inrush current and +12V ripple levels, only on high levels of load". Bottom line is it meets ATX standards and will do the job just fine. Just be aware that it isn't ideal for overclocked systems, and you don't want it working at close to full load.

The 970 will work with a dual core, yes, but the CPU will be the bottleneck in the system. In other words, when playing demanding games the CPU limit the computer's performance before the GPU will. Once he upgrades to the i5 (assuming it is a newer generation) the system will do very well.
