[SOLVED] MINING IN OLDER MOTHERBOARD

I have the following specs -

Pentium g3240
H81 m k
8gb ram

So apparently my motherboard has a pcie 2.0 slot ...SO WILL THIS AFFECT MY MINING HASH RATES ..I am thinking of buying 3060 or 3070

Yes, I believe that pcie 2 will affect your hash rate. Also, i don’t think that the GeForce Rtx 3060 or 3070 will work with pcie 2.

Pcie is backwards compatible. It will work with even 1st gen. Besides most mining rigs use risers that run pcie gen3 x 1.0 which is equivalent with pcie gen2 x 2.0
