Mining using only half of gpu power

The question I have is. Will I do any harm to my gpu using only half of its power. And by gpu im mean RX560 4gb. There are different settings for mining with miner gate and im only using the medium setting for my gpu as for how hot my gpu gets idk

Every stress you do to a component, does not matter which, is gonna "harm" it. It reduces its livespan. Even just doing nothing is doing that. Of couse if you mine with only 50% instead of 100% you gpu may work for longer, but still wont get as much profit as with 100%.
