I'm getting old. Someone fill me in on why its so popular to have a touchscreen directly on your PC now.

Honestly though, I'd rather my company ship me something like this instead of a laptop.
Working from home everyday I have no need of a built in keyboard and screen anymore. In fact they dont even get used and are wasted space and money.
