Minor dent on Cryorig H7 heatsink

Hello, eveyone.

I recently ordered a Cryorig H7 online and had it delivered to me insured. The packaged arrived today and to my dismay, the box had dents on it. (See: https://i.imgur.com/boE6ZnV.jpg)

So, I was already very afraid of what awaits me inside the box. I opened it and saw dents on the corner of the heatsink. (See: https://i.imgur.com/KBkYyax.jpg). There's also some slight bends on the edge of the heatsink.

What I'd like to know is if this would cause issues on the cooling of this lovely heatsink-- and, to save me and the merchant from the hassle of returning and replacing. It's obvious that its the courier's shortcomings-- I think.

Will not cause any issues, but I wouldn't be happy with it.

You may want to see if you can return it on grounds that it was damaged in transit. If not possible, then you can carefully straighten the slats. Outside of that, you should fine as long as you don't have any fans up against those jagged edges since it can impede the fans rotation.

That's exactly same sentiment I had. Sad to see it in that state even if the damage is just minor.

The damage is on the opposite side of the fan. The Cryorig H7 only has one fan and I'm currently not planning on adding another. But, if ever I do consider adding another, will that be an issue somehow?

The merchant kindly mentioned that they already filed a return to the courier since it's insured.
