When I was upgrading my 1700, I put my new cpu the wrong way and killed the mobo. Will that damage my cpu or can I get a new board and get it working again?

But if I put the cpu in to the new mobo will it damage that too?

And I checked every pin, they are fine and cpu seems to be not damaged. I hope I’ll get lucky this time. I don’t want to fry my cpu on first cpu upgrade

Except for bent pins, you can't really tell CPU damage from the outside.

Ryzen 1700 ? How didyou manage that without bending some pins ?

I got ryzen 3600 and only one pin was looking a little bent but I fixed it with a mechanical pencil. All the pins are fine now. I am waiting for my new mobo, I hope I didn’t kill my new cpu that’s all I want.
