Question Missing and bent LGA 1156 pins [CLOSED]

Recently I've been given a free LGA1156 motherboard by a friend who couldn't test it. It has a missing pin (red spot in picture) and a slightly bent pin (yellow spot in picture) that I can probably put back into place with a toothpick. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to spend 7 euros to buy a compatible processor to test it, not only because of the pin situation but also because I have 0 experience with intel hardware. Is it a good idea to get a CPU to test it or should I just call it a day and sell it for parts? Any response is welcome.

P.S. I emphasized the "free" part because if i can't do anything about this motherboard it's not a big deal for I am not losing anything anyways.

Even if those two pins are inconsequential and you get it "running", what will you do with this decade+ old motherboard?

Your friend got you to take his trash out for him.
not really, we have as a hobby to push this kind of hardware to the limits, just that he prefers intel (LGA 775, LGA1156, LGA2011, etc) and I prefer AMD (AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM2, etc). We pick this age of hardware because it's cheap and easy to find. He gave it to me as a sort of "I don't want to throw it away because it's a nice motherboard but I also can't test it. Go crazy with it."

Also, I haven't understood: Is this mobo dead or is there something I can do?

Alright then, I'll be changing the name of this thread to [CLOSED] because I cannot for the love of me find the "best answer" button.
