missing audio driver for hp pavillion

Several months ago, I downloaded a program that also downloaded some malware. I have finally gotten rid of the malware, but the audio is still missing. I don't have a speaker icon in the lower right hand corner and when I check on the control panel, it states "no audio devices installed". Can anyone help identify a method of replacement?

You can always search HP support & downloads. they should have something also.
