Missing BOOTABLE CD

my computer is saying boot cd and l no longer have the re boot cd, what do l do please?

Is your system saying non system disk or boot error? if its looking for a boot cd it may be your hard drive tats failed!!!

sounds like a hard drive error.
check if the hard drive is detected in the bios... if it is insert your windows disk and try the recovery console... see if you can rebuild the boot sector. if that doesn't work or its not showing up in the bios you likely have a dead hard drive.
