missing bottom letters(hp deskjet 2050 j510 series)

hi guys, I am having a problem with my printer. every time I print in the letter, it won't print the whole thing, the bottom part is always missing but when I print in legal it prints the whole page. before I use to print in letter it was all normal. now all of sudden every time I print in the letter it won't fit in the page while I print.please help.

Is this happening with any program, so anything you print comes up as half a page? Say you print a web page, only half comes out? Try resetting the printer options to defaults?
