Missing Computer Icon

I am missing flashing computer icon in my network icon but am able to get on internet?

Are you talking about the network status icon that you can add to the system tray? It normally only shows up if there is a connection issue, you can set it to show up all the time to show connection status when it's connected properly, but it's not needed.
