Missing CPU Driver Issue?

I have been having this issue for the past few days and Im unable to find a solution for it. Ill provide a picture to help explain. Essentially I turned on my computer one day, and my computer was not picking up the Internet. So I checked Device Manager and found that Im missing my Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 2600k driver x 8

These are the things I have tried..
Flashed my bios
Updated my chipset drivers
Ran Hardware diagnostics on my CPU
Restored my OS to a working date
Repaired my existing OS (F8)

The driver for your processor is actually in the BIOS so I don't think it's possible to be missing that if your computer is running. You might have a problem with the driver for your internet adapter.

Thanks for your reply, I have also re-installed my Ethernet driver as well and the missing drivers still show up in Device Manager and still no internet Access.

I would call your internet service provider because it could be a problem with them.

My internet is fine, laptop works with ethernet/wifi. This is probably not an internet issue, the internet issue made me realise the driver/cpu issue.

You definitely have something strange going on, I just don't see how the CPU driver would affect your internet connection. Did you right click the CPU in device manager and select update driver? If you have a wireless internet adapter laying around you could try installing that.

your right, they seem like two unrelated issues. But they came about at the same time. Ill see about looking for a wireless card to have windows updates attempt at re-installing. But I already have re-installed the drivers from GIGABYTE (my mobo manufacturer).

Also just an update: Going to attempt to remove Upper/Lower filters some other resources point to those causing issues with drivers.
