Hi. I I'm having a problem with my PC, not really sure what is causing it but I can say what isn't.

When I play Rise of the Tomb raider, GTA V, Witcher, basically games with high graphics (and even some low graphics games) I notice weird rendering of shadows, hair, fine lines and edges.

Here are some images of the problem shown in Rise of the tomb raider:

Tree doesn't render fully

Jagged rendering of branches (same thing happens to hair when hairworks AA is off in witcher3):

I know it isn't the GPU as I had a GTX 750 Ti 2GB, and I replaced it with a RX 480 4GB, but the problem persists.
I had windows 7 but then installed windows 10 on a different drive, didn't fix anything
Downloaded the RX 480's driver too
Used a different PC with the exceptions being my HDD and the 750 Ti

I don't know what to try further, please assist

Yes anti aliasing will help. Play the game and don't try to find flaws in tree branches LOL
If you used a different PC and see the same thing, it could be the quality settings you are using or you just think the quality should be something it's not. Have you seen the games run better in your system before? If you tried different video card and different OS, clearly the issue can't be with the computer itself. You can try different RAM maybe but that is not likely to help.

Both of those problems you have on the screenshots (dots and bad lines) are happening to my rig too. Even before 2 upgrades in GPU and RAM and even after reinstalling the OS nothing changed so I assumed it's because of the games and not because of my PC. I also found a video on YouTube that the dots were appearing to others as well. So I concluded it's not something faulty with my PC.

I notice bad shadows even in the witcher 3 on ultra settings. But I can say that turning on AA improves the quality and decreases the problem.
