Missing Drivers after system restore

So my brother showed me his laptop because he said he had viruses which he did (some junk called "stack player") so I messed around with trying to remove it but figured and easy way to get rid of it was to just factory reset the laptop and save all of his files on a flash drive then reinstall them afterwards. So I did just that but when I was done with the process and ready to reinstall some programs I noticed that it couldn't find any networks. (There is no problem with my network and I know for sure because my desktop phone and other laptops can connect to it fine.) So the first thing I did was simply troubleshoot and windows said "windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter". I then searched around in the device manager and found that the following drivers were not successfully installed

  • PCI Serial Port
    PCI Simple Communications Controller
    SM Bus Controller
    Network Controller
    Base System Device
I really need to fix this soon because my brother needs it for his school. Thanks.

You'll need to re-download the drivers. Moving forward, if you want to restore a system and migrate over driver information you might want to use a program like Comodo Time Machine or RollBack Rx. They use an 'Explore' function where you can bring over files and data from other restore points.
