Missing Hard-Drive Space

This might have a simple answer, however I do not know.

My multiple drives have less capacity than they are supposed to have.
My 180GB SSD only has 167GB of space
My 1TB HDD only has 931GB of space
My 2TB External HDD only has 1.81TB of space
And my 64GB USB only has 58.8GB of space.

Why is that? Is there a way for me to get back any of this space that I'm supposed to have?
In some cases this is quite a lot of missing space. 200GB of space is missing from my External HDD and I want to know why and how I can fix it, if I can.

So that's to be found with any hard drive or storage device? Seems a bit strange that devices are advertised as 2TB for example, when there's really only 1.8TB available.

Yes. Every single "1TB drive" is displayed in Windows as 931GB.
2TB shows as 1.81TB

I understand i was just saying TiB instead of TB as you had pointed out prior to alleviate any potential confusion 😉
