Missing HIMEM.SYS??? Help

Trying to reload win 98 se after a fdisk and it will load till it starts to detect hardware and then freezes up.. tryed to go in safe mode and it doesnt load either... just says missing himem.sys ??? tryed to load sys files back with 98 se boot disk but still get the same error.. help! or tell me where to go for help... Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. i tryed loading windows again and when promped to save copy of files for later uninstall chose no and then it reloaded windows 98 se ok... go figure.. glad it went well .. thanks again
