missing number of processors in MSconfig -> BOOT -> Advanced options

I Have been using this new laptop for a month now (acer aspire v7 nitro VN7-791G-77YK) and I noticed that the maximum no. of processors is 8, and I am certain it was 10 or 12 processors few weeks ago. Is there supposed to be only 8 or were there actually more ? any solutions ?

specs -
OS - Windows 10
Processor- Intel core i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60 GHz
Graphics - NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 950M
Memory- 16 GB DDR3
Storage- 2000 GB HDD*
system BIOS - 1G / V1.14

An mobile i7 will show no more than 8 CPUs in the task manager. It was NEVER 10 or 12. Just not possible.

oh alright thanks , because my previous laptop ACTUALLY lost 2 logical processors so i just wanted to be sure with this one ...
