Question Missing NVMe card from boot menu.

Hi. I have had a new PC for about 6 months. Last month I screwed up and crashed windows. I managed to get a downloadable windows 11 installation onto a USB. I inserted it and when I booted up. The dive was no longer in the bootable devices listing. It was there before when I made a previous unsuccessful attempt at a re-installation. I took it back to the shop and was told it only needed to have windows re-installed. I told him I tried that but I could not find the NVMe chip in the boot menu.

Can anyone help me to find out why as this might happen again and at £65 a re-installation when I am qualified to do the job myself. Never had an NVMe setup before.

It is an Asrock H610M-HVS/M.2 motherboard

Aside from the bootable devices list, does your BIOS correctly identify the SSD?

What is the make/model of the SSD?
