missing program in control panel

i updated to the new win 10 update now the display tells me failed to load did microsoft remove display from control panel but all the rest of programs open but not display

Display never showed in control panel (or at least, its not showing in mine). Do you mean Device Manager?

no i mean in windows control panel all the programs open up but display fails to open

Which version of Win 10 are you on?
right click start
choose run...
type winver and press enter
Current version (for 1 more week) is 1703 Build 15063.674

it appears that was removed when they released the Creators edition in March. As I don't have a display icon in control panel:

my windows still have display in control panel but it fails to open and i do have the newest update in 10 so maybe they cut that out.
