The name of the program that you're trying to remove would be helpful.

You'll need to contact Intervideo support and ask them for the command line to remove their software. I don't have it installed, so I can't give you what should be in the Registry.

If you're missing programs, then there are several issues that could cause it:

All Programs May Not Be Displayed in Add/Remove Programs Tool [Q240348]
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q240/3/48.asp

Additionally, if there is a large amount of "white space" between entries, from www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

In each of the subkeys of Uninstall, look for the DisplayIcon value. Not all will have this value. If the value has a negative number, then double click it and remove the minus sign. There are also automated fixes for AutoCad and AutoCad Land Desktop 3 on the page. Scroll down to: Add or Remove - White Space

See www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm. Scroll down to Add/Remove - White Space.

Note: Not all programs install an entry in Add/Remove, and sometimes they try, but are unable to do so.
