Question Missing RAM (24gigs installed only 7,44 available)

I just bought an extra of 16 GB(2X8GB) DDR4 3000mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX and installed it.
I already had 1 stick of 8GB DDR4 3000mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX.

My windows says i have 24 gigs installed but only 7,44 gigs is available.

I don't understand it, it's the same speed and they're both from Corsair?

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to solve it?

turn xmp/docp memory profile on?

I don't know what xmp and docp means, but i do know my specs.

GPU; GTX 1660TI
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
MB: ASrock AB350 Pro4
PSU: Cooler Master MWE Bronze V2 650
Windows 10 Home

This CPU doesn't even have an on-board graphics chip.

Start -> msconfig -> boot -> advanced options -> untick "maximum memory" if it is limited there, just in case.

There is also a chance of individual RAM sticks or slots being faulty.

Test each RAM stick seperately in 1st slot, just to make sure each one of them works.

Updating BIOS to the latest version might also do the trick.
