[SOLVED] Missing Realtek HD Audio Manager / Static From Headphones

Hey all,

I recently performed a fresh install of Windows 10 from USB; everything went smooth, but I've noticed that I'm missing Realtek HD Audio Manager and its corresponding drivers. These are important to me because they enable extra enhancement options in the Sound Control Panel, and my headphones are profoundly quiet without those enhancements. Additionally, ever sense the OS install, I've had a terrible static noise coming from my headphones (which work fine on my phone, suggesting the issue is software related on the PC).

Any idea how I can get these back? I've been to Realtek's site, but I can't make sense of it. I've also downloaded Realtek drivers from MSI's website, though it didn't change/help anything, and Realtek HD Audio Manager still didn't show up in Device Manager after extracting and installing the file.

I don't know what else to try and don't know why Realtek just didn't come with the OS install.

I'm running Windows 10 x64 and a new MSI X570 Edge mobo.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

DO NOT use utilities like these. They are hot garbage.

Seriously, NEVER

The last time I encountered this issue I found it to be there but disabled. Go to Task Manager then Startup and see if its disabled, then Enable it. Also you should see the icon in your Control Panel. If not you may need to reinstall it. This site has a good explanation how to do that:

Update: Downloaded the Windows 10 x64 option from Realtek's site, but lost all sound in the process. It's been uninstalled. I really don't know what to do here.
