[SOLVED] Missing space after formatting SSD

It's a 250GB SSD. 111GB free space before formatting, still 111GB after formatting. Can't find where all the other space is.

Where is all the used space? Did I format it incorrectly?

THere is almost certtainly just a bunch of Unallocated space.

What led you to this format?

And "format" in File Explorer just formats the partition you're looking at. Not the whole drive.

I built an entirely new PC so I thought I'd use my previous SSD as an extra drive. But I guess that's where I messed up, I formatted in file explorer.

That G is depicted as a 120GB drive.
There seems to be no missing space.

What is the model number?

Samsung 840 series is the model number?
That's weird, I've had far more space used on it than 120GB.

So all that space that it says is being used is probably just a mistake by the system?

The 840 came in 120GB, 250GB and larger.
I have a couple of 250GB of those.

I'm not seeing ANY unused space.
