So my ZOTAC AMP EXTREME Core decided to break its firmwire bricking the card forcing me to sent it back for repairs 2 months ago.

There is still no news from neither the store nor ZOTAC about when such a card can be sent again which is starting to bug me quite a bit at this point since im running on a EVGA GTX 970 OC which needless to say struggle with Monster Hunter World, Tekken 7, Final Fantasy 15, Rise of the Tomb raider and so on.

Iv'e spend some time looking at either ZOTAC's RTX 2080 Amp Edition and MSI's RTX 2080 Trio as replacement if the 1080 Ti remains missing from the market for much longer and so my question is just, which of those cards would be the better and is there one iv'e missed within same price range.

My system is creating a small bottleneck on the 1080 Ti since im running a i7 Core 4790k with 16 gb HyperX Savage 2400 mhz ram on a Asus Maxiumus VII Ranger.

Corsair RM850i, 850W PSU.

besides its a free swap to any card since they don't have the 1080 Ti on storage and those they have both 1080 and 1070 Ti's are the bottom of the barrel so not really interesting in goin down in power.
