So upon booting up my system and after entering my password it sits at the login screen for like 20 seconds, after that I get a black screen with a white curser.

I've got an SSD which has already been tested, it's definitely a software issue.

I discovered using ntblog.txt that at startup the drivers SRV.SYS and VGA.SYS are not loading on startup and it's killing my boot time. I haven't the slightest idea how to recover the files or if their not essential. Just leme know. thanks guys

Solution
there could be more than missing files i would suggest to made a full virus test without network and did you use the ssd maker software to test it .

the key has already been verified, it is a genuine copy. The upgrade version was given to me from the school that I'm going to.

just ran a startup repair, still experiancing the same issue. Appears that srv.sys and vga.sys are still not being loaded.

My guess is that their corrupted, if deleted them and then proceeded to startup repair would that possibly fix the issue?

edit: also just ran sfc.exe and that just crashes as soon as I start it.
