I was having trouble downloading the windows 10 anniversary update, so I went to the Microsoft page and mistakenly started downloading windows 10 instead of the up date. I was able to cancel @about 20%, my question is did I do any harm to my registry files or my current copy if windows 10 itself? Or me canceling at 20% wipe what was downloaded erased from registry? I was able to successfully download the the anniversary upgrade and all seems well. It's a new pc and I don't want to cause problems. Thank you in advance

Solution
if you canceled the download at 20% you did not install anything, if you cancelled the update while it was install (blue screen saying do not power your screen) at 20% maybe, could be, possibly issues, but doubtful as you applied the anniv. version atop it, and if there was issues windows would of mention file corruption before processing the anniv. version.'
