MIT's CSAIL partnered with PatternEx, an AI startup, to create an AI-human hybrid solution that would detect cyberattacks with an effectiveness rate of 85 percent. However, like all detection-based solutions, it may only stop an attacker after the fact.

Security must be multi-faceted, so I think this sort of intelligent intrusion detection will become standard practice. The article is correct to point out that false positives will be an issue, however.
