I have a Mitsubishi Megaview 37" XC-3716C monitor. This thing is a monster. It accepts both composite and VGA/RGB inputs. Everything I can find (which is not that much) on this monitor states that the max resolution it supports is 1280x1024 @ 75 HZ. I have tried 2 different PC's on the RGBHV VGA inputs and cannot get it to go beyond 800x600. It will either lose sync and go to a blue screen, or, split the desktop into 2 identical narrow displays with a bar in the middle. Please, someone who is familiar with these large multisync displays tell me what I am doing wrong! The RGBHV is set to 75 OHMS and the sync on HV and not sync on green. Any ideas, anyone? Will not go higher on either a GeForce 6200 or ATI HD2600. At 800x600 the picture is bright and sharp...I know it would be awesome at 1024x768, which is supposed to be the default , or 1280x1024 the maximum.
Help!!!!!!

Hi there...no real flickering problems....just reallly big icons and the desktop can't quite be stretched to fill the screen properly. Default resolution is supposed to be 1024x768 but I just can't lock it up. I wish I had another VGA cable laying around to see if that was the issue, but hd15 to 5 BNC cables are not the thing you tend to have extras of in the parts boxes.

Hi....just so you know...this is a presentation 37" monitor...hybrid between a TV and a monitor. After talking to some people who are familiar with these and the similar NEC really large monitors, 800x600 is often as far as they will go. If I replace the caps on the boards it will probably lock up at a higher resolution but it is more demanding on the monitor itself. These are not your typical desktop monitor. The advantage other than the display size is the capability to natively support low refresh rates, quite useful for arcade game emulation. I wanted the higher res to display 720P HD, but I'm not going to push it at this time.
